how many blind luddites have to tell you that they guess your car is a Mercury, before you get so fed up that you write in the back window that it's a Torino?

on the dash it has the Cobra Torino badge, but not on the outside.

It's so annoying that people say to a car owner, Hey, is that a XXXX ? when you have a YYYY. Worse that they are too stupid to read. Yes, READ. Behind the rear tires, on most Mopars with stripes, and this Torino, and most other cars, are a badge or sticker decal saying what the car is. Sometimes between the brake lights or on the edge of the trunk deck... but so few cars are built with no wording on them to tell you the model... and stupid people frequently guess at the model, instead of reading the decal, and this Torino owner got fed up so much he wrote that in the back window. Priceless.!

I just learned where cool race cars go to win Concours and hang out in a museum I've never heard of before, but I've seen some of their cars before! Canepa Motorsports Museum near Santa Cruz

there are 25 cars and 10 motorcycles,

and so far they've won the following 7 first place trophies in just the last 2 years

 1972 Porsche 917-10 – Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance
 1962 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster – Palo Alto Concours
 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing – Hillsborough Concours
 1969 Porsche 917-K – Marin Sonoma Concours d'Elegance
1967 Cobra 427 – Beverly Hills Concours
 1970 Lola T70 Mk3B Can Am – Hillsborough Concours
1983 Lancia LC2 Prototype – San Francisco Presidio Concours

for the website tour http://www.canepa.com/collection/tour.html

Bruce Canepa'd first car was a 29 Model A, and he's raced IMSA and Trans Am circuits, and the Daytona 24 hours with Bobby Rahal and Rick Mears. He also has had a huge success at Pikes Peak, setting the course record in 2000 and 2001, and ran a race truck up in 2002 setting a tandem axle record of 13:57, breaking the previous 13:59... and he still holds the record now.

Good video!

Awesome retro cool stuff from Farbror Sid (Uncle Sid)

Man, this is too much... it doesn't have any mention that it's just a Ford, with the Cobra package, it calls it a Shelby. PLease correct me, if I'm wrong, but Shelby doesn't appear anywhere on a 1969 Cobra Torino, does it?

they are leaning on a Volve 1800
this Charger photo was titled moonlight, and maybe that is the deal, but it's a cool photo no matter how they lit the scene

one incredible find after another on http://farbror-sid.se/
