does anyone really give away a 1970 Hemi Cuda?

step one of this give away... sign up, join their site registry, and get all the BS emails
step two, pimp out your friends emails
step three add content to the website that is giving away? this car

The more you work for it, the better your chances might be to win the car, but really.... read the fine print, http://myclassicgarage.com/rules  and it says the car won't be available on the day the winner is picked, and they have up to 2 months to arrange for it's delivery, but you have to pay taxes and all that.

But seriously, any website has $100,000 for a hemi cuda to give away? I really doubt it

very rare Rapid Transit System 4 piece poster from 1970, 4 feet by 12 feet total size, the Hemi Cuda

 Jim's price is 5thousand. jimwel69@yahoo.com

regular readers will know that it's rare that I have a thing for sale, because I have nothing to sell. But occassionally someone will ask me if I want to buy something, like in this example, and since I can't afford anything, I ask them if they would rather I post about it, and help out readers who are looking for some cool thing, and that seller who is also a reader (maybe) and by posting it, I help out four people at the same time.

I get a cool thing to post, Jim's wife is happy he sells it, Jim's happy to get money for it, and the new owner scores something that normally you would thing will never be seen outside a millionaires private collection

If you buy it, and don't mind sharing the photo of it in your place of pride, I'd love to post that as an example that sometimes, cool things find new homes. My email is jbohjkl@yahoo.com

If you haven't heard of the Motorator, (Car Collector by GQ) check out the interviews of car collectors he does in their warehouses and garages, astonishing. Here's Jeff Dunham and Bill Goldberg

in which the incredible Jeff Dunham demonstrates how to open a McLaren, as it has no switch, door handle, or soft pad... very cool. He also explains the Mopar musclecar era fender tag screws. Seriously, I'd never learned this thing he shows, before this. How far out is it to be schooled on Mopar trivia during a celeb garage tour?

I've posted about Bill Goldberg's car collection before, http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search?q=goldberg  but this is the first video I've seen of the cars in his garage. He brought the lawman to SEMA! http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/12/lawman-boss-429-mustang-that-al.html

So, my compliments to GQ and the Motorator, they are doing a terrific series of videos on car collections in Southern California, and the Clive Cussler collection in Colorado http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2013/07/tim-allens-car-collection-from-new-gq.html

Hockey stripes and billboards... only Mopar and muscle car people know what that means, for anyone who wonders - here are the two coolest decal themes used in muscle cars to show off the engine size

The above is fuzzy, it isn't your eyes or computer. Sorry about that
Though not either, this AAR (Dan Gurney All American Racer) decal fits here nicely, and was technically the strobe stripe I believe

If you love Mopars, these are nothing new, but there are a lot of people that haven't seen as much of the variety of muscle cars as you and I. Some have seen another world of muscle cars, the south American variety, Australian, or the African varieties. Cool stuff that here in the USA we are totally unfamiliar with.

Ramona Cuda rollover dui news update

It was a real Hemi Cuda, a 1970 Hemi Cuda, the thread over at Moparts says it had a square tube rollcage. http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=6924721

It's totalled. My previous post http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2011/11/cuda-rolls-in-high-speed-dui-down.html

The back seat passenger, according to the CHP,  was 52-year-old Mark Andrew Jones of Ramona...  not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the car, through the back window, and the car rolled over him and then rolled off him before stopping upside down.

Guess what none of the newspapers and tv news people have not mentioned... what led to the crash of Harold Green's Hemi Cuda at about 3:20 pm. Sunday Nov 13th  http://www.10news.com/news/29760960/detail.html

Drinking (from about 10 am to about 3pm) at the nearby Turkey Inn on Main and 7th ave (maybe watching a football game Broncos/Chiefs, Redskins/Dolphins, Cardinals/Eagles, Houston/Tampa, Titans/Panthers all started at 10am Ramona time, 1pm Eastern Time http://www.hokiephotos.com/categoryevents/1/Page-8.html)

then after the game, a "Come check out my car!" So they went to Harold's and got the Hemi Cuda, and  took off south on 7th and fishtailed at last 4 times before making the corner at Telford -7th - Ashley and then floored it again to head South on the straight Ashley road when he saw the girl unloading the horse from a trailer, swerved to avoid the girl and horse and rolled the car long, far, and high, hitting branches from the tree between Ashley rd and the Morgans half circle driveway at the bottom of the below Google Map

the people who own the property the car came to a roll over stop in... , Dennis and Linda Morgan, possibly are looking to blame the car, the road, and the speed limit, or are looking to waste the county supervisors time chasing these scapegoats instead of drinking and driving "Morgan also told 10News he hopes law enforcement and San Diego County Supervisor Dianne Jacob will now take a serious look at these roads to prevent future crashes like this one."  the News 8 reporter states that Dennis wants the sped limit lowered from 45 to 35. I think the reporter misquotes the Morgans, but who knows... watch the video and decide for yourself on that... I can't nail it down there.
"Morgan said he hoped county supervisors would take steps to make the road safer and prevent future accidents like this one."

Another reason to buy Mopar Muscle, this story on 17 yr old who got this 383 4 speed numbers matching 55thou, 1970 Lemon Twist original mile 'Cuda!

Jan 2012 issue has the story of Adam Blankenship, and his mopar collecting dad who promised him the car that had been sitting in the collection for 10 years if he got good grades in High School. That is pretty damn cool!

Or read about it online http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/featuredvehicles/e_body/mopp_1201_1970_383_plymouth_cuda_lemon_aided/index.html
